To Melon's Island, the site that is all about my old story called Melon's Adventures. Which has now been renewed, the storyline, the characters, almost everything. The story itself isn't the only thing that has been renewed but the whole site as well. Of course you can see that the layout is new but there's more to it than what meets the eye ;D

After a long time of abandoning the site, I surprisingly thought of working on it again ever since I thought of Melon's Adventures while listening to music in the car. I worked on the site so much that I couldn't even get myself to work on an AMV (Animated Music Video) that I was planing to make at that time XD but since I never felt so motivated to work on the site before, I decided to work on Melon's Island instead. Before I worked on Melon's Island, it was a MUST to make a fresh-new layout! :D I made the island, the tropical tree and the ocean in Gimp as always. The cloudy background is a background texture from Paint.Net. And thought of fading two parts of the banner for the two menu boxes since I don't have a lot of menu stuff. And finished the layout in Paint.Net by adding the orange borders. At first I couldn't think of the title for this layout but I then thought of how Melon's Island has returned which I then thought of the layout title.

Soon it was time to add a picture of Melon to the layout that I recently drew using a different style of being able to color my drawings in Photoshop without inking them with a special pen that I used in the past. I instead went over the lines of the picture in Paint.Net using a movable line tool so the lines aren't perfect with the backgrounds. Then added the site title and layout title in Paint.Net and Gimp. And made an update avatar to go with it.
