My CollectionsThis page was taken from the dead MPS, before it became Melon's Blog. Since I'm still willing to keep updating my collections and how it'll be neat to have an actual page that is on MPS since I archived the whole site on a flash drive. I made redos of the past pictures of each collection (except for Unova Pokemon Figures, The Penguins of Madagascar & Kirby since there are none, being added back in 2014) since all of them where on Majhost only (which is also dead) so they're long gone. Being on Maj back then, I deleted them from my camera too.. I also lacked in having enough storage for them (Now I have more than plenty). Which is why I made redos. Note that the originals where taken from my old bedroom so I had to do them in my recent one and that they won't look the same as the originals but I tried my best. These are all of my collections, I do collect other stuff but I'll just update the ones that are still going. In which all of them are except for Unova Pokemon Figures and The Penguins of Madagascar. I bought what I wanted back then, so they haven't grown since they're addition. I have too many Penguins of Madagascar merchandise anyways XD Despite this I'm still a fan of these cute and cuddly penguins ^-^ Most of my collections aren't together in my room all the time so I gather them all up when I want to take a picture. They might be updated once every few years, none of them have been updated recently but they will at some point.
Pokemon Figures CollectionLeft l Right
Past Images (All Redos) Updated (5/19/14): Added two new figures, the new ones will be in bold. I did have a whole bunch in the past when I first got into Pokemon but gave them away to my two cousins, I must have given them away since I stopped being a Pokemon fan before or during the second generation. I don't wish I still had them anymore like I used to since I have better figures now. So I had to start all over again. My Swellow figure is so small since I wanted it despite it's size. It also came with a bug type Pokemon from the 3rd gen (that's not in the pictures), which is also small. It's the first figure I bought when collection Pokemon figures again. There's a Lugia combat figure that's a 10th anniversary edition, a Moltres combat figure from the year 2000, including the other two legendary birds), Articuno, Zapdos, Staraptor (a Jakks brand figure that can make sounds). These other figures are Jakks too that came during the 4th gen, except for Swellow; Wingull, Girafarig, Espeon, Chatot, Ponyta, Cyndaquil, Flareon, Vaporeon, Piplup, Mudkip, Squirtle, Pikachu (waving), Jolteon, Pichu, Pachirisu, Staravia, Suicune, Shaymin (Sky Form), Chikorita, Leafeon, Pikachu (sitting), Latios, Latias, Pikachu (in battle), Umbreon, Eevee, Buneary, Starly, Swellow
Unova Pokemon Figures CollectionSince I didn't have enough room for all of my Pokemon figures on the dresser, I decide to split the collection into two which features only the Pokemon figures that I have from the Unova region. So this is kind of like a part two of my main Pokemon Figures Collection. All of them are Jakks brand figures that came during the 5th gen of course. These figures are made out of something different than the other Jakks figures. The new figures will be in bold. There's Zoroark, Zorua, Reshiram, Mincinno, Oshawott, Tepig, Snivy, Pidove, Derling, and Axew
Ty Beanie Baby Birds CollectionLeft l Middle l Right Left: Back l Middle: Back l Right: Back Second Row: Left l Second Row: Middle l Second Row: Right
Past Pictures (All Redos) Updated (10/19/14): Instead of having 35 Ty Beanie Baby Birds, I now have 38 since I forgot about adding these two; Tiny Ty Chick and a new American robin that is on the second row. I also took out the doubles of the ostrich and the old American robin. The longest lasting and biggest collection I have! I've been collecting those cute Ty Beanie Babies for years and it's finally completed since I got a few that I couldn't get them anywhere else than on ebay (I love ebay <3). A grand total of now 38 of them! :D I have always been collecting ever since I got Rocket, which is one of the blue jays. Yeah, I got doubles of a few which I have a good reason for having a few of those doubles. The other doubles where a birthday present from my cousin. The updated pictures where taken from my book shelf. The first row of birds where there for a while but I removed everything that was on the bottom shelf (which is the second row) and added those birdies the day I took these pictures. I later on removed them and put them back in the box. The collection consists mostly of the classic beanies and some new ones. Edit: Despite the fact that I said that this collection is complete.. I ended up getting a few more birdies XD My mom gave me two new ones as presents and I totally forgot about one bird that I wanted to have and got on ebay, Caw the crow <3
Hamtaro Figures CollectionBack l Left l Right
Past Images (All Redos) Updated (5/19/14): Added two new figures (and three redos), the new ones will be in bold. Another one of my long lasting collections that I have but it's not a big one. Been collecting Hamtaro figures for years, it's as long lasting as my Ty Beanie Baby Bird one. I got a few on ebay and a few at Toys'n Joys. Now a grand total of 24 since I was lucky to get Maxwell and Snoozer (which where in separate packs). The collection did die for a long time since there was a time when I wasn't interested in Hamtaro anymore but then I gained it back by watching my recorded Hamtaro videos. At that time I only had all of the 15 Ham-Hams except Panda, Maxwell and Snoozer. And I also had Auntie Viv and Omar. As my interest returned so did this collection by buying Hamtaro figures on the internet. There's Sora (Sky Ham), Spat, Harmony, Hamtaro, Bijou, Jingle, Omar, Oxnard, Panda, Nin-Ham, Maxwell, Sandy, Stan, Barrette, Flora, Penelope, Pashmina, Snoozer, Howdy, Dexter, Elder Ham, Auntie Viv, Boss, and Cappy. Since this collection is now on my bookshelf I have more room so I added some things, like Maxwell and Sandy on the two seated swing, Nin-Ham is able to hang by a piece of string that's taped, and added my only Hamtaro Japanese DVD and Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak game box on each side of the clubhouse.
The Penguins of Madagascar Collection
Posters l Movie Poster l Cardboard Pics Unlike my other collections, these photos are organized in a different way since some photos where taken around my room and the rest where taken on my laptop's stand. Since I thought the stand would be the best place for most of my penguin items I had to move my laptop, my printer, and my lamp. My penguin pics that are on my walls except the movie's poster aren't in parts like the rest of the photos. A grand total of 48 items! Ten times bigger than my Ty Beanie Baby Birds collection D: Since I used to be obsessed over them, that's why lol. In Posters is a poster of the first TPoM DVD and two Comic-Con posters, next is the movie poster that's on the back of my closet door, and then is the cardboard cutouts from one of the 10 inch plushes box. And here is a list of the rest of the items, starting with the ones in Part 1 - 2; King Size Movie Cup, TPoM DVDs from Operation: DVD Premiere - Operation Antarctica, Fish Happens book, Skipper's Log book, Operation: Weakest Link comic book, Light Projector with only 5 of the 6 screen thingys (since I lost a Rico one during my move D:), Cool Collectable figures (The Penguins only though, King Julien and Maurice aren't part of the collection), Operation: Wonder from Land Down Under four part comic books, TPoM version of UNO (card game), and a DVD Sampler (From a cereal box that contains two Episodes). Now for Part 3 - 6; Skipper 10 inch plush with box, Ty Beanie Baby Skipper with tag, Rico 10 inch plush, Madagascar 3 Skipper plush, Ty Beanie Baby Rico with tag, 100 piece Puzzle, Fruit Snack box, 6 inch Skipper plush, 6 inch Rico plush, TPoM Rolling Figures, four of the Mc Donald's Happy Meal toys, Madagascar Operation Penguin video game, TPoM Nintendo DS Game, TPoM Dr. Blowhole Returns AGAIN video game, and a 16 Month 2011 Calendar.
Kirby CollectionFinally! I have unmasked my Kirby collection which is also one of my long lasting collections, even though it's not that big but it is bigger than my Yoshi collection since I love Kirby, a lot XD He's so adorable, who couldn't love him? There's Tilt 'n' Tumble, Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Nightmare in Dream Land, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, Squeak Squad, Super Star Ultra, Kirby: Right Back at Ya VHS; Kirby's Egg Excellent Egg Adventure, Kirby: Right Back at Ya DVD; Kirby Comes To Cappy Town, Kirby: Air Ride, Kirby: Return to Dream Land, Kirby's Dream Collection, Kirby Plush, Ice Kirby Figure, Cook Kirby Figure, Ball Kirby Figure (all figures are from Wendy's happy meals), and my large Kirby t-shirt.
Yoshi CollectionPicture 2 l Past Picture (Redo) Updated (10/19/14): Added four new items (one that I forgot to add last time). The new ones will be in bold. Here is my small but growing collection of the cute green dinosaur from Mario's world, Yoshi! :D Instead of pasting both of the pictures on one, I decided not to this time. The first image that is shown in the thumbnail includes all of my Yoshi figures, plus the key chain that is now taped to the roof of the shelf, so it's hanging around 8D Front row: Mc Donald's Yoshi on a bike toy (that was from the Mario Kart 8 toy set during the game's release), Burger King head bobbling toy, the second version of the Super Mario Bros 2 inch figure set, and the first version of the Super Mario Bros 2 inch figure set. Back row: Stickers that are from the Mc Donald's Yoshi toy, Super Mario Bros 5 inch action figure, 9 inch Super Mario Bros action figure, and a Burger King Ball shooter toy. From the second image in the front row: Yoshi's Story (a Nintendo 64 game that I forgot to include last time), Yoshi's Island DS official guide book, Yoshi's Island DS, and Yoshi's New Island. Back row: Super Mario Bros 8 in a half Plush and a Super Mario Bros 6 inch Plush. |
